This book is great. It's very well written and easy to read, like a novel. I just finished reading O'Brien's book on Byron; and though I enjoyed it, her wording made it a little difficult to understand--which made me feel a little stupid(and I love challenging books). This book helps you to better und-stand the subject and his s: First, while the book is the complete life of Byron, the story itself feels academic and dry. It's the historic account of his life from one day to the next. So, in some places, the book becomes a run on of just one event to the next. There is no interpretation or anecdotes that bring Byron to s: Perhaps they'll have some more about a year hence.
